Most clients see me FORTNIGHTLY.
This is long enough to complete homework and practice the things we've talked about, but it's not so long that you lose momentum.
Clients going through a very intense time may want to meet weekly. Where I have capacity, I’ll try to make this possible.
If you have difficult homework to do, or if a big event like a family holiday comes up, we might stretch to three weeks. I prefer not to go longer than this.
-
Absolutely, this is normal for most of my clients.
It’s nice to be in the same room, but online coaching makes so many things possible.
If you would like to meet in-person sometimes and online for other sessions, this is absolutely fine.
-
All online sessions are recorded. You'll receive a link to an online folder where you can watch all your recordings. I store these for 6 months after your last session.
If you'd like to set up your phone to record in-person sessions, this is absolutely fine.
Please test the software ahead of time. In the past some clients have lost chunks of their coaching sessions due to problems with recording software.

Yes, please take a look at my recommended reading.

When you book in for your first session, you'll be asked to complete a couple of online forms. I also have a blog article with some advice about getting the most out of coaching sessions.
Some people choose to read my book or visit my YouTube channel to get a taste for my coaching style.
It’s a good idea to bring a pad of paper to take notes during a coaching session.
Overall, remember that you are in control of this process and the benefits you get out of coaching are up to you. Try to arrive 10 or 15 minutes early and find a quiet space to reflect. Centre yourself. Decide what you want out of this coaching session. Revisit your homework. Be ready to get to work as soon as you sit in the chair.

Many coaching sessions will end with an agreement about homework. Not all sessions will end this way, but most will.
Homework can be a specific exercise that I set you. I have a wide range of personal development, reflective or problem-solving exercises that I set for my clients, and when it's appropriate I'll suggest one of these.
Sometimes it'll be reading or research.
Sometimes it will be a practical thing that we agree you need to do, like having a conversation, booking a training course or going to the gym.
All homework is carefully tailored to your needs. I will recommend homework based on your current challenges and growth, and often based on what I can see coming next for you. Many clients have told me that homework was the thing they most enjoyed about coaching.
As always, you remain in control. You will agree (or not!) to your homework, and it will be your responsibility to get it done.
While coaching sessions will be the most intense and productive part of this process, your work between sessions will be the thing that makes the difference.
I can offer all the reflections and guidance in the world, but it will always be up to you to make it real, and make changes in your life.

Within the coaching industry, a master life coach is generally recognised as someone who:
has been coaching for at least 10 years
is able to go beyond standard life coaching and work with advanced topics like emotional management, self-mastery and finding purpose
-
Yes this is fine. Many employers pay for coaching sessions as part of staff wellbeing programmes.
Some pay by invoice, some supply virtual credit cards for one-time payments, and some will pay you so that you can pay me.
Let me know what your employer needs and we'll make it happen.
-
Wherever possible, I prefer single payments for sessions or courses of sessions.
However, if a large one-off payment is impossible for you, and if 2 or 3 payments will make things possible, then please contact me to discuss it.
